Dear Valued Community Member:
HSC Foundation Inc. has partnered with Helen Newberry Joy Hospital (HNJH) Behavioral Health Platform, Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan implementing the Youth Substance Abuse Disorder Initiative (YSADI). This initiative addresses the challenges of at-risk youth seeking substance abuse related treatment and transportation concerns (high fuel cost).
The HSC Foundation requests donations to purchase fuel cards in $25.00 increments from the local Holiday Fuel Station. The fuel cards would offset the cost of the caregiver transporting their at-risk youth for treatment. Families outside of a 10-mile radius of Helen Newberry Joy Hospital who engage in therapy would qualify and receive a $25.00 fuel card.
The HSC Foundation is developing an action plan to guide our families with at-risk youth.
